Cover design for Haruki Murakami’s ‘Norwegian Wood’, a novel about love, loss and friendship, set in 1960s Tokyo. After brainstorming a few ideas the daffodil, iconography featured in the book, became the focus, used as a metaphor for themes running through the story.
